Wascoe Siding

Open days

When

Wascoe Siding is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month (except January). You are invited to bring family and friends to picnic in the grounds and ride on the trains (subject to weather).

The railway

Several trains operate continuously or on demand from 10:00am until 4:00pm during our open days.

Safety

All persons who ride on the trains must wear fully enclosed footwear to ensure their safety.

Prices

Wascoe Siding does not charge for entry into the grounds or for use of the facilities.

Train rides cost $4 per person for everyone. Tickets are available from the ticket office adjacent to the kiosk. EFTPOS facilities are available for easy payment.

Birthdays

Small groups celebrating a birthday on an normal open day can arrange for a free all-day ticket for the birthday child. Please advise the ticket office on arrival.

Weather

Every effort is made to run on open days. However due to the nature of the models and the open riding cars, running will be cancelled if the weather is wet or preceding heavy rain has made the park very wet. Updates will be posted on our Facebook site.
